It was already 27 degrees as I loaded the car at 5am with my photography gear.
The early start was because I wanted to shoot the dawn at Elli beach diving tower near Rhodes Town.
I recently returned from a well-earnt break in Greece which got me thinking about this image.
I created this image (note I said created not taken) a couple of years ago.

I’m a bit of a daydreamer, especially while driving which maybe isn’t an ideal time!
It’s how I got the sudden urge (not sure why) that I should reach out to ask if I might photograph Michael Eavis.
Following on from my shoot in July of Matravers Master Thatchers harvesting their Wheat harvest I returned last month to capture them combing the same harvest.
As I look over my last Blog entry I’m not sure where this year has gone all of a sudden.
It’s been on the whole another busy year although the late summer months did quieten down.
This allowed me time to continue my Life In A Somerset Landscape Project and shoot some other personal work like the shoot I’m posting here.
A few weeks ago during a hot spell of summer weather, I received a message I’d been waiting for from Reuben to say they were starting the harvest
After my shoot earlier in the year for Numatic (see blog post) I was asked to capture another people-based brief for the company.
The brief this time was for a new brochure and other promotional material for their Service Care Package involving two models.
I was recently interviewed by the lovely people at Wonderful Machine based out of Narberth Pennsylvania in the U.S.A
