Following on from my shoot in July of Matravers Master Thatchers harvesting their Wheat harvest I returned last month to capture them combing the same harvest.

Wheat Combing removes the seeds from the wheat making it a step closer to being used for thatching.

The day I visited was a far cry from that very hot July evening running around a field with my camera equipment.
The weather was chilly and the heavens decided to open midway through shooting but looking on the positive I had landed the drone a few moments prior although that was the only bit of kit that didn’t get soaked.

I plan to finish this series of images next year capturing Reuben and his team thatching a property.
