There is nothing more therapeutic to me than to set up the camera at sunset and to watch & wait for the light to almost disappear into what I call the edge of darkness.

This period of the day (or is it night !) is magical to me and fits in perfectly with my photographic vision.

“Moored For The Night” is yet another location image from my latest trip to Turkey and captures once again one of the typical Turkish Gulet boats moored up in the bay of Gumbet.

Another part of this creation process that I enjoy (most of the time!) is to spend time re experiencing the moment & location whilst retouching the image. As with many of my images my post production work is spent refining my feelings and vision for the place I have captured and not necessarily producing a faithful record of it.
